Implementing the UN common approach to biodiversity and advancing biodiversity action in Latin America and the Caribbean

This webinar, organized by the UN Environment Management Group (EMG) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, in collaboration with the Issue-Based Coalition on Climate Change and Resilience (IBC), explores how the UN Common Approach to Biodiversity is being implemented across the region.

The session aimed to:

• Promote awareness and uptake of the UN Common Approach to Biodiversity at regional and national levels in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Share best practices, success stories, and lessons learned from biodiversity actions supporting conservation and sustainable use in the region.
• Collect inputs from participants to guide future webinars and discussions on biodiversity action in LAC.
