  • Subregional/cross border support: Developing an information management platform (i.e. the United Nations Laboratory on Crime and Corruption, LabCC) that offers a comprehensive suite of resources aimed at providing Resident Coordinators and UN country teams (UNCTs) with up-to-date information and tools to tackle corruption, organized crime, gender-based violence, prison reform, terrorism prevention in the region, as well as other topics linked to the SDG 16 and correlated SDGs.

  • Prototyping integrated policy advice: Developing guidance and recommendations on specific public policy areas related to SDG 16 and correlated SDGs and making them available to RCs and UNCTs through the United Nations Laboratory on Crime and Corruption (LabCC).

  • Capacity development for RCs and UNCTs: Training sessions and e-learning initiatives for UNCTs and/or external counterparts (as requested through the RCs) on specific themes linked to area of focus.

  • Common positioning and communication: Producing and disseminating executive notes and joint key messages on area of focus.
