This report "IF CARE IS FAIR, THE FUTURE IS OURS: Perceptions and demands of adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean regarding care," compiles opinions and experiences of two processes, the online U-Report survey, which included inputs of 56,060 adolescents and young people from 29 countries, and a participatory process from 104 adolescent girls who participated in national and regional workshops on the care burden for adolescent girls. The report, mainly authored by adolescents, compiles 5 main demands identified by them and presented at the Youth WG’s side event at the XVI Conference on Women in Mexico City on International Youth Day 2025.
