Within the framework of the joint program of UN Women and the International Labour Organization (ILO), “Promoting Decent Work for Women through Inclusive Growth Policies and Investments in the Care Economy,” UN Women in Argentina, in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Public Policies (CIEPP), has conducted a study in the province of Santa Fe. The study estimates the fiscal effort required to invest in public policies aimed at reducing gaps in care services and calculates the employment that would be generated as a result of this investment, based on three possible scenarios (minimum, medium, and maximum), depending on the level of coverage the provincial government aims to achieve.
